We treat kids from Tasmania, southern New South Wales, other Australian states, and from abroad as the main specialist paediatric hospital in Victoria.
With a campus-wide team of nearly 4,000 enthusiastic, highly competent, and dedicated employees, provide a full range of clinical services, tertiary care, and health promotion and preventative activities for kids and teenagers.
We are Victoria's designated paediatric major trauma centre as well as a federally supported liver and heart transplant centre.
The Murdoch Childrens Research Institute (MCRI), the University of Melbourne Department of Paediatrics, and the hospital in Parkville are also situated there along with the RCH Foundation. The improvement of children's health outcomes, both now and in the future, is our top priority.
The RCH is an important contributor to the Victorian Paediatric Clinical Network and works to implement the Department of Health Strategic Framework for Paediatric Health Services in Victoria (2009).
The RCH actively contributes to the implementation of Victoria's Cancer Action Plan 2008-2011 through participation in the Paediatric Integrated Cancer Service (PICS) and the Victorian Comprehensive Cancer Centre. The Victorian CCC
Job Responsibilities
The Complex Care Hub are looking for dynamic, and highly organised person to join the team!
Complex Care Hub is an interdisciplinary service that coordinates the health care experiences for complex patients and their families. Patients with complex needs frequently require multiple teams, advance technology and medical equipment to support their care needs, both within the hospital, community and at home.
- Complex Care Hub Administration officers support the Complex Care Hub programs to provide an integrated, coordinated and family centered approach to care and treatment for identified complex patients.
- You will assist the Complex Care Hub team by promoting effective communication and collaboration.
- You will provide adminstration support and data managemetn for the Complex Care Hub program and will assist in the optimisation of efficiency by centralising tasks.
- This role is a front line customer service role involving interactions with patients and their families.
Job Requirements
- Demonstrated proficiency in the use of established administration process
- Demonstrated customer service skills
- Demonstrated commitment to work and contribute as part of a team
- Experience in using computer applications, including but not limited to the Electronic Medical Record.
