Job Responsibilities

  •  In this role you will be comfortable make proactive, outcome driven sales calls, marketing products and services by phone to various potential and existing business clients.
  • As part of the role, you will capture customer insights, complete basic administration tasks, generate leads, and meet call outcome and sales goals.
  • You will work closely with Marketing to drive action and activation in our non-account managed business customer base with campaign style programs.  eg. onboarding new, lapsed or declining sales, category/product upliftAs part of your role you will complete activity based calling programs for other Sales roles with Buying Group and Membership customers.
  • Make outbound customer calls or cold calls in order to sell our core service whilst understanding the scope of the opportunity
  • Answers questions about our service offering and highlighting relevant features to the client base on your conversation
  • Understand whether there is a wider opportunity sat behind the initial lead and how this can be followed up
  • Accurately and efficiently enter customer information into company databases giving full transparency of any conversations and/or actions required
  • Arrange follow up consultation with clients to pass onto the sales team for follow up.
  • Contact customers in response to correspondence or feedback
  • Maintain working knowledge of Officeworks Business offer and product and service range, new sites deployed and any other relevant company news that will be beneficial to your role.
  • Liaise with core members of the service delivery team including sales, operations, service delivery and client services where necessary ensuring that all communication is recorded on Salesforce and/or the CRM system.
  • Deliver consistent results in line with expectation.
  • Able to complete 20+ calls/ days

Job Requirements

  • Proven experience as telemarketer or similar sales/customer service role face to face or over the phone
  • Proven track record of successfully meeting objectives and sales goals (preferably over the phone)
  • Working knowledge of relevant computer programs (e.g. Microsoft suite and Salesforce)
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Bubbly and approachable personality
  • Skilled in negotiation
  • Persistent and results-oriented
  • Patient and able to handle customer rejection
  • Self-motivated and well organised
  • Work well in a team, and individually.
  • Approachable, outgoing and diplomatic
  • Fastidious about accuracy with outstanding attention-to-detail
